When summer is around the corner, most of us plan a beach vacation and dream of having a fit and great-looking body on the beach.
In recent years, the "beach body" trend has been making waves among youngsters and middle-aged groups.
Here are a few tips to get a beach body:
1. Setting the timeline to get a beach body:
You must follow the nutrition routine and workout at least 3 months before you plan your beach vacation. Keep the goal realistic, making it achievable without false expectations.
2. Include protein in every meal.
Prioritising substantial amount of protein intake to build a beach body is important. Ideally, the recommended protein intake is 1–1.5 g/kg body weight; however, it can be increased according to individual's medical profile, workout activity and strength training exercises. Protein with every meal is essential to boost muscle mass and cellular repair. Protein helps to lose fat and aids in weight loss.
3.Eat collagen-rich foods.
Collagen preserves skin elasticity and gives tone and firmness to the skin. Eating collagen rich food prevents sagging of skin. Sagging skin is surely not desirable if you dream of having a beach body. Include collagen-rich foods like bone broth, fish, chicken, eggs, berries, and flaxseeds in your diet.
4.Eliminate cellulite.
Cellulites are fat deposits that makes the skin dimpled, unstructured and uneven surface making it non desirable for a beach body. It generally affects thighs, hips and lower tummy. Cutting down on processed, refined, fast foods and sugary foods is essential, as they are the main reason behind the built up of cellulite beneath the skin.
5.Avoid high-bloat foods.
Keeping a check on sodium rich foods and cutting them down from diet if excess is desirable . Include more potassium rich foods like oranges, bananas, kiwis, cucumbers, etc. Including these potassium rich foods in your diet two to three weeks prior to your beach trip can significantly prevent bloating.
6.Exercise your body with a professional trainer.
Get your beach body workout plan, preferably from a professional trainer, to avoid any muscle tears or injuries. Beach body workouts are often rigorous and need to be well monitored.
Remember, achieving a “beach body” is not about reaching a specific weight or size, but rather about feeling confident and healthy in your own skin. Stay consistent with your nutrition routine and exercise, and be patient as you work towards your goals.

Often overweight girls are embarrassed to go on beaches as they can't wear beach wears unlike other skinny gals .. good you mentioned it in your last stanza. Confidence is important.
